In July 2007, the Guernsey Flower Arrangement Society held their annual Flower Festival at Forest United.

Each arrangement depicted an aspect of the life and influence of Charles Wesley, born in 1707.

Charles and his brother John are remembered as co-founders of the Methodist movement. 

Charles was a prolific hymn-writer. Our flower festival weekend included a Songs of Praise at which some of Charles' best loved hymns were sung.
